Oh my goodness, where would I even start to pick our *favourite* venues? Just when I think I’ve finally discovered *all* the venues the Southwest has to offer, I discover a hidden gem or someone launches a fabulous brand new venture. The Dordogne is, after all, known as the “land of 1001 châteaux” – and that doesn’t even touch on our near neighbors the Gironde, Lot-et-Garonne, Gers, Charente etc.

Château de la Bourlie is easily one of our favourite Dordogne venues – so anytime we get to work there is a pleasure – even in 36° July heat (!)
This time it was for Kat & Pierre’s emotion-filled day – with the whole family involved in every aspect of the planning and preparations (this must have been a record-setting number of friends/family copied in on each email!)

As a wedding planner, it’s pretty rare to get to work with the same couple twice.
But due to family circumstances, I started planning CL+D’s beautiful Bordeaux wedding in the autumn of 2014 – and then had the pleasure of being able to pick up again right where we left off a few seasons later.
